Cooling towers

Feed pumps for the P400 cooling tower

A submersible pump with a power rating of 7.5 kW, located in a warm water reservoir, feeds water to a cooling tower, supplying it to the cooling section from where it subsequently goes to the part with cooled water.

Water cooling system

A cooling tower with a fan cools down water preparing it for being pumped to snow guns on the slope. Water is cooled down and aerated by its operation. Thanks to this, the efficiency of snowmaking equipment increases and costs are reduced due to the saved energy. Cooling towers have one sequence consisting of two modules which are placed on a concrete pool being the cooler’s dip tray. Under the dip tray, there is a concrete reservoir divided into two parts: warm water from the reservoir and cooled water.

Concrete reservoir for cooling towers

The reservoir is made from watertight concrete. It is divided into two chambers: with warm and cooled water. A cooling tower with a fan is placed on that reservoir.
